According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, now has a net worth of $121 billion, making him the 11th richest person in the world. Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder and CEO of Meta, sits just above him in third place with a net worth of $204 billion. He trails only Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos on the list.
How Did They Get Here?
Both executives have benefited from remarkable stock performances. Since the beginning of the year, Nvidia’s stock has skyrocketed by 192%, while Meta’s has risen 65%. Their companies are part of the so-called Magnificent Seven—a group of mega-cap tech stocks that have driven much of the market rally this year.
Investors have rewarded both firms for their strong positions: Meta in digital advertising and Nvidia in chip manufacturing, especially with their innovative focus on artificial intelligence.

Earlier this year, Huang planned to sell up to 6 million shares by early 2025. To avoid unsettling investors, he used a prearranged plan and completed the sale in September—earlier than initially expected.
