boAt, India’s prominent electronics brand, recently announced the arrival of a new wearable, boAt Xtend with built-in Alexa and will be launching in India soon. Amazon listing is live for the product and numerous specs and features are out now. The budget-friendly smartwatch will be sold as an Amazon exclusive one and will be available only on Amazon India and boAt’s official website.
The upcoming smartwatch, boAt Xtend, is equipped with Amazon Alexa voice assistant which will allow users to set reminders, alarms, ask questions, weather forecast, and much more. The smartwatch will have a 1.69-inch LCD color screen having a touch screen display and features such as auto-brightness sensors and brightness level adjustment. The display will support over 50 cloud watch faces which can be set through the boAt wave app. The smartwatch has a knob on the right side which offers users full control over the functions of the watch. In addition, the boAt Watch Xtend will also be equipped with a SpO2 blood oxygen level monitoring, a guided meditative breathing app, and round-the-clock automatic heart rate monitor. The watch is available in different colors such as pitch black, deep blue, olive-green, and sand cream and is waterproof for up to 50 meters and for 30 minutes. The design of the smartwatch includes a durable flexible silicon strap which is available in a range of colors and a classic stainless-steel buckle.
The Xtend smartwatch also has a fitness tracker at its core that supports over 14 modes of sports such as indoor walking, outdoor walking, hiking, yoga, open water swimming, outdoor running, and workout, among others. Smart features such as music control, notification alert, DND mode, and weather. It packs a 300 mAh battery unit, and on a single charge, the battery is rated to last for 7 days on normal usage and 5 days on heavy usage. The price for the device is yet to be announced.
