Hyundai Motor India, a prominent player in the Indian automotive industry, has achieved a noteworthy sales milestone for its connected vehicle technology – the Hyundai Bluelink-equipped cars.

The company has substantially increased the percentage of connected vehicles within its product lineup, growing from 5% in 2019 to an impressive 30% in 2023 concerning total HMIL sales. This accomplishment translates to the sale of over 5 lakh connected cars over the past four years.

Key contributors to the surge in Bluelink-equipped car sales include popular models such as the Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Venue, and Hyundai i20, which have played a pivotal role in amplifying the connected car trend.

Unsoo Kim, Managing Director & CEO of Hyundai Motor India, commented, “Hyundai Motor India has solidified its position as a trailblazer in futuristic technology and smart mobility through its connected car platform, Bluelink. Introduced in 2019, Hyundai Motor India was the first car manufacturer in the mass segment to offer such a comprehensive ecosystem of connected car services.”

“Bluelink has experienced a substantial increase in penetration among Hyundai customers, highlighting the evolving preference for vehicles equipped with advanced connectivity features. This significant growth stands as a testament to the profound trust customers have placed in Bluelink technology, offering seamless connectivity for all journeys,” added Kim.
