HDFC

HDFC Life has unveiled its latest initiative, the ‘Kal Ka Reality Check’ campaign, targeting individuals between the ages of 23 and 45 and beyond. The campaign seeks to bring about a significant shift in how people approach the realization of their retirement aspirations.

Vishal Subharwal, Chief Marketing Officer and Group Head of Strategy at HDFC Life, emphasized the importance of meticulous retirement planning. He highlighted the need to consider various aspects of one’s future life, such as increasing health-related expenses with age and the impact of inflation on financial stability. Subharwal emphasized the campaign’s goal of enabling individuals to build a financial corpus that can sustain them in a future where costs have risen substantially.

As part of the ‘Kal Ka Reality Check’ campaign, HDFC Life has released two compelling ad films. The first film, titled ‘Retail Reality,’ confronts participants with dual price tags on everyday goods, illustrating the stark difference between current and future costs. HDFC Life representatives intervene, underscoring the necessity of proactive financial planning, particularly for retirement. The film concludes with participants choosing HDFC Life’s insurance policies, reinforcing the message of preparing for future expenses.

In the second film, ‘Painting the Future,’ participants use generative AI to vividly envision their dream retirements, only to be surprised as the actual cost falls short. The campaign, conceptualized by Schbang, aims to capture attention and create immersive experiences that resonate with authenticity.

Rohan Hukeri, Executive Vice President of Mumbai and Delhi – Brand Solutions at Schbang, expressed pride in the creative and strategic brilliance behind the campaign. He noted that the initiative reflects Schbang’s commitment to transforming ideas into immersive experiences that not only captivate but also leave a lasting impact on the audience’s psyche.
