Tech Mahindra, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), has introduced a cutting-edge sports cloud platform designed to cater to sports enthusiasts worldwide. The partnership aims to provide a comprehensive digital platform for sports organizations, delivering various use cases such as content and community engagement, customer data management, audience segmentation, and sports analytics.

The platform, as outlined in a statement by the company, is set to deliver immersive fan experiences from stadiums to homes through the utilization of augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR) technologies, along with metaverse gamification.

Beyond enhancing fan engagement, the sports cloud offering will empower sports organizations to revamp and digitize the properties of sports teams and franchises. Additionally, it enables the creation of new revenue streams by developing innovative services and features tailored to the evolving needs of the audience.

The collaboration between Tech Mahindra and AWS, announced in September of this year, focuses on joint go-to-market initiatives and aims to drive business growth. Jagdish Mitra, Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Growth at Tech Mahindra, emphasized that the collaboration with AWS, known for offering a broad and deep set of cloud services, will revolutionize the way fans interact with their favorite sports. The Sports Cloud built on AWS is envisioned to establish a personalized, fan-centric community that extends beyond the physical realm of sports.
