Honor 80 GT mobile phone and V8 Pro tablet debut together

In the last week of 2022, Honor also brought a new phone, but not a new flagship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The newly unveiled Honor 80 GT is equipped with an 8+ Gen 1 processor, and also has a super-frame display chip to improve the frame rate performance of the device during games. The factory also added a VC vapor chamber and a 4,800mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging. The thickness of the body is 7.9mm and the weight is as light as 187g.

The Honor 80 GT is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ flat AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and supports 2,160Hz PMW dimming. It has dual speakers up and down, and a 16MP selfie camera in the middle opening. It has three cameras on the back, consisting of a 54MP main camera (Sony IMX800), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. In terms of release information, Honor has prepared 12+256 and 16+256 models this time, and the corresponding prices are RMB 3,299 and 3,599 respectively.

While announcing the new phone, Honor also launched a new V8 Pro tablet. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip and has a 12.1-inch 144Hz LCD screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600. The device weighs 589g, is 6.64mm thick, and has eight built-in speakers. It is also equipped with a 10,050mAh battery that supports 35W charging, and can be used with the Magic-Pencil 3 stylus with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The front and rear of the tablet are equipped with 5MP and 13MP cameras respectively, and the configurations are divided into three levels: 8+128, 8+256 and 12+256. The initial price starts at RMB 2,499. Like mobile phones, tablets will also be pre-sold in mainland China from now on.
