Battlegrounds Mobile India has made headlines ever since its announcement back in May. The game has garnered a lot of attention over the last few weeks, primarily with rising speculations about its release date and specifications. Ever since the pre-registrations of Battleground Mobile India begin, hard-core fans of the game PUBG Mobile have been eagerly waiting for the game.
Battlegrounds Mobile India has garnered over 20 million registrations ever since the pre-registration went live on the Google Play Store a few days ago. Simultaneously, the game developer is also working on a release of Battlegrounds Mobile India for iOS devices. The Battlegrounds Mobile India will have a size of around 600MB on an Android device but will need more space for its smooth and seamless running. The game will be supported on Android 5.1 and higher, indicating all the recently launched Android phones will support the game. Minimum 2GB RAM and high-speed internet connectivity are two must-needs for the game to function properly. Krafton Inc., the PUBG maker, said there will be four exclusive pre-registration rewards which include the Recon Mask, Celebration Expert Title, Recon Outfit, and 300 AG. However, Battlegrounds Mobile India will have restrictions for children and teenagers with players below 18 years of age needing to register for the game with their parents’ or guardians’ phone numbers. It is thought that the verification will be through a one-time password wherein after entering the OTP, the users will gain access to the game. Krafton has also announced that the gaming title, which is similar to PUBG, will be equipped with Erangel Map and UAZ off-road vehicles, among other features. The game will also include green blood spatter, addressing the concerns related to negative impacts of excessive bloodshed, and making it different from the highly popular game, PUBG.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is exclusive to the Indian market and will not be available to download for users outside the country. The game will receive monthly content updates and will have India-specific in-game events, features, and outfits. No official launch date has been announced as of yet but according to speculations and teasers, the game is set to be launched in India on June 18.
